3Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Structural Engineer on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area engineering consultant. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design for various types of civil structures.Requirements:Linear/Non-Linear structural analysis experience with Static & Dynamic systems, including but not limited to:Seismic time history analysis,Seismic response spectrum analysis,Harmonic response & random vibration analysis, andPushover analysis.Design of steel, reinforced concrete, and precast concrete structures: Buildings,Building Foundations,Machine foundations,Nuclear and Fossil Fuel Power Plants,Dams,Culverts,Industrial facilities,Piping and Ducting Systems, andMechanical Equipment.Working knowledge of various design codes, including but not limited to:ACI 318ACI 349AISC 360AISC 341ASCE 7, ASCE 4, and ASCE 43 StandardsIBC and UBC Building CodesASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code - Sections I, II, III and VIIIASME B31.1 and 31.3 Piping CodesASME AG-1 Code and SMACNA Code for Nuclear HVAC EquipmentIEEE 344, 323, 627 and 693 for Seismic Qualification of Equipment for NPP ServiceFamiliarity and working knowledge of various structural software:ANSYSSAP2000STAAD.ProGT-StrudlRISA 3DAUTOCADABAQUSLS_DYNAMathcadMathematicaMatlabRevit StructuresJob RequirementsEducation Requirements:B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Structural or Civil EngineeringMinimum Requirements:Minimum 0 - 5 years practical experience in structural analysis and designProficient with ANSYS, ducting design, and seismic analysisE.I.T. required, PE License is a plusWilling to travel as necessaryMust be a US CitizenTechnical Solutions Inc. provides a wide range of staffing services throughout Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
